Dear
Jack,
For the 4th year in a row, some of our teens here
in Kingston, wanted to do something special for
Wednesday's Child. So, on October 10th they held
a read-a-thon. In all they raised $215.10. I am
attaching some of the pictures of the kids reading,
and will be sending you the checks today
Keep up the good work!

Wow! Sensing now is the time to help less fortunate children,
several groups of school age youngsters have stepped forward
to send in donations. 4th and 5th graders at the Flagg Street
School in Worcester raised money through coin drives and school
spirit days. They sent a check for $589.43!
Also, the 3rd annual read-a-thon at the Kingston Public Library
was held October 18th in honor of Wednesdays Child.
Another big donation was sent from the Teen Advisory Board
of the library.
Thank you on behalf of the thousands of children in state
care who continue to await adoptive families.
