From now until the first week of March, Wendy's stores in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island are selling coupon books for one dollar. The coupons are for ten Junior Frosties and $5.00 off a lift pass at Waterville Valley. Net proceeds will go to Wednesday's Child. One hundred and twenty stores (120) are participating. Last year, Wendy's gave more than $300,000 to Wednesday's Child. A crowded room of Wendy's managers gathered on January 19th in Westford to hear details of the promotion, including great incentives for the leading stores. Guest speakers included Andy Wise and his adoptive parents Dale and Sally Wise and Jack Williams, creator of Wednesday's Child. Jack talked about the long association Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's, had with Wednesday's Child and how Dave's legacy continues with this promotion.
