Jack Williams is the evening news anchor of the CBS affiliate
in Boston, Massachusetts. Williams has been a respected journalist
since 1968, and has been recognized for his continued commitment
to the community through the numerous charitable organizations
he actively promotes. In 1981, Williams created a weekly news
series called Wednesdays Child which has become

child who is in search of a permanent home. Since its creation,
the segment has helped more than 525 special needs children find
loving homes. In addition, Williams is responsible for raising
more than $5,000,000 for special needs adoption. In April 2000,

Child, a 501(C)(3) charity to ensure continued financial support
