In 1987, triplets, Desmond, Victor, and Vincent, their older brother, Govinda, and older sister, Sita, appeared at the WBZ studios to be taped for Wednesday's Child. These cute, well dressed, and well-mannered kids were insisting they be adopted together. A social worker from upstate New York passing through Boston that night watched the program. She contacted a woman in Rochester who had been looking for a complete family. Melinda and Arnold French, who adopted three children already, opened their home to five more. Sita recently received her graduate degree from Tulsan University in journalism and is now living and working in Maryland. Desmond is in the Armed services. At Buffalo University, Vincent majors in English. He eventually wants to go for his doctorate so he can teach at the college level. Victor studies Psychology at Buffalo State while Govinda attends the liberal arts program at Monroe Community College. What bright futures these Wednesday's children have! |
