This
letter was sent to Corina Hopkins,
Director of Communications at the Massachusetts
Adoption Resource Exchange.
Hi Corina:
Yesterday, when I was driving Dareek,
Deron and Damir home, I asked Dareek,
"On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being absolutely wonderful and
1 being not a
very good day, how would you rate today?" His immediate and enthusiastic
response was "20!" followed by a very big smile.
I cannot thank you, and everyone else,
enough for all you have done on
behalf of these children. I know you put alot of effort into making
yesterday a very special day for Dareek, Derquon, Deron and Damir and
it far
surpassed their expectations and mine.
I will be out of the office all day today,
but am wondering if you could
email me full names and addresses for Jack Williams and Megan. Assuming
you
feel it is appropriate, I would like to write them both to thank them,
and
their organizations, for all they did to make yesterday such a happy
and
memorable event for Dareek, Deron, Derquon and Damir.
Thank you again for everything.

Hi Jack,
We are the William's from Marblehead.
You probably don't remember but
you were very instrumental in helping our son Craig. He had a brain
tumor
about 12 years ago, was very sick and wasn't going to make it. With
your
help, Mo Vaughn, and countless others
the hospital, Blue Cross
& Blue
Shield did an exploratory procedure at Floating hospital for children,
and I'm
proud to say he graduates from Marblehead High School on June 8th.
Thanks again for everything!
Bob, Pam, Amanda, and Craig
